Retaw Coffee is a space where people naturally flow in and feel at ease, offering a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere. The interior is wrapped in warm wood tones, creating a welcoming ambiance that harmonizes with the surrounding environment. To blur the boundary between indoors and outdoors, large windows were designed to connect the space with nature. These open views invite guests to enjoy the surrounding landscape, while the wide openings on both sides of the café allow light and breeze to flow through, filling the space with energy and life. Soft tones inspired by the sky are subtly placed throughout, capturing the unique identity of Retaw Coffee.
The name “Retaw” comes from spelling “water” in reverse — a reflection of the café’s core concept. Just like water, Retaw Coffee is a space where people and the environment are organically connected. The design encourages a continuous flow between individuals, space, and nature, allowing for spontaneous interaction and stillness alike. As water moves effortlessly, so too can guests find their own rhythm — discovering moments of pause, connection, and presence.
Minimal and thoughtfully arranged, Retaw Coffee presents a clean and well-balanced design. A central share table invites people to gather naturally, encouraging a sense of togetherness, while the open bar fosters seamless interaction between staff and guests. Freely arranged shelves add openness and flexibility, enhancing the sense of ease. More than just a café, Retaw Coffee is a place where people, design, and nature coexist — flowing as one.
리토커피는 사람들이 자연스럽게 흘러 들어와 편안하게 머무는 공간으로, 아늑하면서도 세련된 분위기를 가지고 있습니다. 따뜻한 우드 색감으로 구성한 공간은 따듯한 분위기를 주고, 자연과 조화를 이루는 편안한 느낌을 선사할 수 있도록 공간을 구성했습니다. 리토커피의 공간은 내외부의 경계를 허물고자 큰 창을 설계하여, 실내와 외부가 자연스럽게 이어지도록 했습니다. 개방형 창을 통해 외부 경관을 여유롭게 즐길 수 있고, 양쪽으로 뚫린 큰 창 덕분에 흐르는 빛과 바람이 실내를 가득 채워 더욱 생동감 있는 공간으로 만들어 줄 수 있도록 했습니다. 하늘을 표현한 색감이 곳곳에 배치되어, 리토커피의 정체성을 표현했습니다.
리토커피의 '리토'는 'water'의 철자를 뒤집어 'retaw'라는 이름을 가지고 있습니다. 이름처럼 리토커피는 물과 같이 사람과 공간이 유기적으로 연결되는 공간입니다. 이 카페는 사람과 공간, 자연이 끊임없이 흐르며 서로 소통하는 공간으로 설계되었습니다. 물이 흐르듯, 이곳에서는 손님들이 자연스럽게 흐르는 대로, 자신만의 공간을 찾으며 편안히 머무를 수 있도록 하였습니다.
전체적으로 깔끔하고 정돈된 느낌의 리토커피는 미니멀한 디자인을 바탕으로 세련되면서도 편안한 요소들이 조화를 이룹니다. 손님과 공간이 분리되지 않도록 설계된 쉐어 테이블은 모든 사람이 자연스럽게 함께할 수 있는 환경을 만들고, 열린 바 구조는 대화와 함께 손님과 공간이 자연스럽게 흐를 수 있는 역할을 합니다. 자유로운 선반 배치로 공간에 여유로움을 더했습니다. 리토커피는 단순한 카페가 아닌, 사람과 공간, 그리고 자연이 하나로 어우러지는 공간입니다.
