CODA is a stay designed around the lifestyle and flow of Seongsu. The space was planned to reduce visual fatigue and create a calm, balanced atmosphere through warm wood tones, low-saturation materials, and subtle contrasts in texture. Slatted partitions, low color-temperature lighting, and mid-century-inspired furniture were used to maintain openness and visual balance throughout the room. Rather than emphasizing a dramatic scene, CODA focuses on creating a stable and comfortable stay through the balance of structure, materiality, and lighting.
CODA는 성수 지역의 체류 흐름과 라이프스타일을 고려해 계획한 숙소입니다. 외부 활동 중심의 지역 특성상, 객실에서는 시각적인 피로를 줄이고 안정감 있는 체류 환경을 만드는 데 집중했습니다.
전체 공간은 우드 톤과 저채도의 재료를 중심으로 구성해 안정감 있는 분위기를 만들었으며, 질감의 차이를 활용해 공간의 밀도를 조정했습니다. 침실은 간살문 구조와 반투과적인 요소를 적용해 개방감을 유지하면서 시선과 빛의 흐름이 자연스럽게 이어지도록 계획했습니다. 욕실 역시 톤과 질감을 맞춰 객실과 이질감 없이 연결했으며, 낮은 색온도의 조명과 절제된 컬러 사용으로 차분한 분위기를 유지했습니다. 가구와 조명은 미드센추리 기반의 비례와 형태를 참고해, 객실의 균형감과 정돈된 인상을 만드는 방향으로 구성했습니다.
코다는 특정한 장면을 강조하기보다, 체류 과정에서 편안함이 자연스럽게 유지될 수 있도록 구조와 재료, 조도의 균형에 집중한 공간입니다.
